Digital Devotion

The series explores the intersection of spirituality, artificial intelligence, and the ontology of digital images. Each work begins with a photograph depicting a religious or personal moment of devotion, which is interpreted by an image-generating AI and then transformed into a video combining the original photograph with its algorithmic counterpart. The series reflects on the virtual dimensions of both spiritual experience and AI-generated imagery, questioning whether artificial intelligence and spirituality are truly opposites—or whether both invite us to believe in realities beyond direct perception.
